Ice climbing (it also refers to ice falls to refer to the activity) is a discipline deriving from alpinism and climbing. It consists in climbing with the fundamental help of ice axes and crampons, and with the use of other materials, on the icy mountain formations.
Protections can be done on the ice using ice screws.
We offer the basic stage for those who have never had experiences or want to improve their level on this wonderful element. Instead we propose the advanced stage for those who have already had previous experiences and want to experience adventurously the experience of natural waterfalls even on multi-pitch routes.
The organization provides:
- Ice climbing Equipment.
- Advice and tutoring.
- Accomodation.
- Complete assistance of Alpine Guides.
Required level: no particular level required for the base stage.
Departures from: Naples, Caserta, Salerno, Rome, Turin, Bologna, Florence.
Required level for Advanced Stage: 6a lead (5.10a american grade) and previous experiences on ice.
