Who truly acknowledges the essential work of route developers and bolters? The real and authentic creators of sustainable climbing areas that respect the natural environment.

Behind every safe and well-equipped climbing route lies the dedication of volunteers—experienced climbers who, with passion and respect for nature, invest time, energy, and resources to create and maintain accessible and secure climbing spaces for everyone.

It is thanks to them that today we can climb safely all over Italy, especially in Campania and southern regions.
A precious commitment, almost always carried out free of charge, combining technical expertise with a deep sense of responsibility toward the mountains and the environment.

Our non-profit association (direzioneverticale.it/chi-siamo) invests every donation and contribution from events and social activities into projects for sustainable bolting and maintenance of climbing crags — using high-quality materials, respecting local ecosystems, and preserving the beauty of the places we love to climb.

Supporting us means actively contributing to the protection of the landscape and the growth of the climbing community.

Even a few euros can make a difference.
