This introductory rock climbing course for beginners organized by Direzione Verticale is designed for those who want to discover the vertical world in an energetic, friendly atmosphere, with the first mild days of the season. - 🎯 Goal: Learn the fundamentals of outdoor sport climbing on rock
- Basic single-pitch crag climbing techniques
- Correct use of equipment (harness, helmet, climbing shoes, ropes)
- Belaying and essential safety techniques
- Responsible behaviour in a natural environment
- Route reading and basic movement skills
- Introduction to leading on sport routes

Session I – Saturday 14 March 2026
📍 LOCATION: Crag Agerola, Furore, High Amalfi Coast
⏰ 09:00 Meet-up and gear handover
🤸 Technical briefing, first climbs on top rope, introduction to safety and basic knots.
☕ Scenic break and end of activities at 13:00.
🌅 Return and group technical debrief.
Session II – Sunday 15 March 2026
📍 LOCATION: Agerola crag – Naples High Coast area
⏰ 09:00 Meeting at the parking area and short approach hike
🤸 Progression on slightly more demanding routes, dynamic belaying, and introduction to the “closed carabiner” anchor changeover (Petzl method). [web:6][web:9]
⏰ Short break and final debrief at 13:30.
